About the Role
A well-established industrial equipment supplier is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join their team. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in selling electrical components into the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
- External sales of electrical components into mining operations
- Building and maintaining relationships with mines, contractors, and OEMs
- Identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts
- Providing basic technical guidance and solution-based selling
- Managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to close
Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience selling electrical components or solutions
- Proven exposure to the mining industry
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology (Diploma, BTech, or similar)
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites
- Strong technical understanding of electrical products and applications
