About the Role

The Bookkeeper role at Tower Group is a critical position that ensures accurate financial data record-keeping, reconciliations, and reporting across our Distribution Centers operations. As a highly data-driven role, it focuses on accuracy, compliance, and analytical insight to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciliations: Perform weekly and monthly bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain clean and accurate general ledgers and journals.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly financial summaries, variance analyses, and cost tracking reports for management review.
  • Inventory Accounting: Work with operations to reconcile stock and cost data between systems.
  • Data Insights: Use data analysis to identify financial trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 24 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (distribution or logistics background preferred)
  • Advanced Excel / data analysis certification advantageous
