About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is urgently seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety, health, environmental, and quality management systems, with a proven track record of implementing and auditing ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Company’s Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Management System (SHEQMS) (Including, but not limited to, ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, FSSC22000, AP Global Standards etc.)
- Support Corporate Risk Management Programme: SHEQ Risks
- Ensure SHEQMS standards and systems are in place, communicated and controlled.
- Provide specialist training and support for on-site execution of Corporate SHEQM
- Continually improve the SHEQMS through an effective Corrective Action System and Improvement Projects
- Provide feedback to Management on SHEQMS performance.
- Manage the Document Controller and SHEQ Officer Roles
Requirements
- Matric with Maths & Science
- A Science or Technical Qualification preferable
- Must have Quality/EH&S/Risk Management Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Chemical/Gas related industry
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with SHEQ Management Systems (must include ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 implementation and auditing experience)
- Experience in the provision of SHEQ training for all audience levels will be an added advantage.
- Must be Computer Literate: MS Office (very strong); Email; Adobe Acrobat.

Salary: R850k/yr – R750k/yr, salary negotiable
