About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the Electronics Manufacturing industry is seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. We are looking for an experienced professional to manage procurement processes, develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times, and build strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process for electronic components and materials from local and international suppliers
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate forecasting to avoid material shortages
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize design for supply chain efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify opportunities to implement new technologies and processes to improve procurement performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in the Electronics Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing strategies
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be situated in the Western Cape

- Salary: R450k/yr to R550k/yr, Salary negotiable
