Role description
The HEF is accountable for the end-to-end performance of Evolution Finance, a niche credit provider focussed on in-store credit and home improvement finance solutions.
The HEF is a key stakeholder in developing strategy for the business and oversees the execution of strategy. This includes product development, developing distribution channels as well as being accountable for the financial performance of the loan’s portfolio.
The role entails final accountability for financial performance, strategy development, and execution to the Group CEO
Key functions include leading the business end to end within a matrix organisational structure, including credit product development, and expanding market coverage while managing stakeholder relationships and supporting fundraising efforts.
Requirements
A recognised Honours in Data Science, Actuarial Science degree or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience distributing retail financial services products through third party channels
Track record of leading a significant profit centre within a financial services environment
At least five years of senior leadership experience
A background in retail financial services retail build ware, unsecured credit and credit risk analysis or credit portfolio management will be advantageous.
Skills and behavioural expertise
Technical skills and leadership ability relating to areas of functional accountability: unsecured credit product development and portfolio management as well as retail financial services marketing, sales and distribution
