About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, a well-positioned South African company providing energy solutions, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance/Quality Controller to join their team in Kew, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and Contract Quality Plan requirements, as well as Client Specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep and maintaining highest levels of compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and Contract Quality Plan requirements and Client Specifications.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests at Suppliers.
- Ensure supplier Data book requirement are met and approved.
- Supervise/inspect goods delivered to site.
- Being very thorough and meticulous in all aspects of the various quality documented information, being accountable for all own actions.
- Must apply quality procedures strictly.
- Work overtime at very short notice.
- Enforce to maintain tidy and maintaining high levels of quality workmanship.
- Continuous training of staff on their quality involvement.
- To assist the Site Manager in various functions.
- Keep and maintaining highest levels of quality for site activities.
- To manage, plan, inform and chairing on-site inspections.
Requirements
- Matric
- At least five (5) years experience in the site project environment/management
- Clerk of Works qualification or experience advantageous
- Computer literacy essential, including the use of Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Valid Drivers License
- Must have own reliable transport. May be required to travel long distances from time to time.
- Good command of the English language both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (advantageous)
