About the Role
Marketplace Finance | Cape Town. If spreadsheets, systems, and slick processes make your brain light up, keep reading. We’re representing a fast-paced, high-volume digital marketplace looking for a Business Process Analyst who can untangle complex finance processes, automate the boring stuff, and turn data into decisions that actually stick.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and map end-to-end marketplace finance processes
- Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities
- Design future-state workflows that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
- Build dashboards, KPIs, and financial insights for decision-makers
- Support risk assessments, internal controls, and compliance monitoring
- Partner with Finance, Product, Tech, and Operations to implement improvements
- Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or process improvement
- Strong process mapping and optimisation experience
- Solid understanding of financial controls and risk frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker)
- Exposure to ERP systems and SQL is highly beneficial
- Marketplace, e-commerce, or digital platform experience is a big plus

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
