About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Salix Recruitment. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS
- Provide meaningful financial analysis, forecasts, and variance commentary to support senior management decision-making
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and compliance with statutory, tax, VAT, and payroll requirements
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, forex exposure, and debtor management processes
- Lead the annual budgeting and capital expenditure planning processes
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process and relationships with external auditors
- Oversee fixed asset controls, including asset registers, depreciation, and approvals
- Lead, develop, and manage the finance team while partnering with key internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes, and reporting
Requirements
- Completed SAICA / SAIPA Articles
- 6 Years in technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial management
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
- Solid understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Postgraduate qualification in Accounting
