Job Description
Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to achieve optimal commercial terms.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and technical teams for material requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and control procurement costs.
Handle contract management, vendor performance evaluation, and supplier development.
Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and technologies relevant to the cement industry.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical understanding of cement plant operations and materials.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software (SAP/MM preferred).
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline).
Proven procurement experience in cement or heavy manufacturing industry.
