Job Description

??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with a leading East African hospitality company to recruit a highly organised and service driven ?????? ??? ???????????? ??????? The successful candidate will be remotely based. The role is central to the smooth running of all bookings, guest travel arrangements, and itinerary planning across a portfolio of luxury bush camps. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior reservations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous planning, clear communication, and strong operational coordination. The successful candidate will oversee a team and ensure seamless interaction between reservations, travel planning, operations, and on the ground camp teams. The position requires someone who is confident managing complex itineraries, third party suppliers, multiple booking systems, and high volumes of guest movement. The ability to lead a team, maintain consistent accuracy, forecast occupancy, and uphold excellent service standards will be essential. Requirements A degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field At least five years experience in reservations or travel planning, preferably within a safari or multi property lodge environment. Strong understanding of Tanzanian tourism circuits Proven experience supervising a team with the ability to guide, mentor and manage performance. Demonstrated success managing the full reservations cycle with accurate documentation, reporting, forecasting and communication Skilled in developing tailored itineraries, coordinating ground handling, flights and transfers, and managing all guest movement logistics. Experience maintaining supplier relationships and managing bookings with airlines, transfer companies, hotels, excursion providers and park authorities. Confident working closely with camp managers and operational teams to ensure all arrivals, departures and special requests are communicated in advance. Strong reporting ability including occupancy analysis, forecasting, conversion rates, revenue summaries and agent performance tracking. High attention to detail with the ability to resolve booking issues quickly and maintain exceptional service standards. Proficient in reservations systems (ResRequest preferred) and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French is an advantage.
