About the Role
Network Finance, an innovative engineering and technology company, is seeking a Development Engineer – Hardware to design and develop advanced electronic systems for industrial applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical electronic systems, collaborating closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, reliable solutions for real-world operating conditions.

Requirements
- BEng (Electronics) / BSc Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in:
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Embedded systems design and programming
- Industrialisation and product development of electronic systems
- Hardware and software integration in embedded environments
- C/C++ programming for embedded applications
- PCB design (experience with Altium Designer highly advantageous)
- Working with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and digital signal processing (DSP)
- Communication protocols, such as I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and ethernet
- Circuit simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB or equivalent)
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics and datasheets
- Design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT)
- EMC/EMI compliance and relevant industry standards
- Version control systems, such as Git or SVN
- Laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, spectrum analysers, and multimeters)
