Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in building services to join their team in Cape Town.

This role requires a highly experienced professional to lead and manage complex projects, ensuring top-quality design and execution in various engineering domains, including reticulation and renewable energy sectors.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
Oversee the design and project execution supervision in the consulting engineering industry.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in the reticulation industry.
Drive design and project execution supervision in the solar or wind sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations.
Mentor and train junior engineers and staff.

Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Consulting Engineering industry after obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Over 10 years of design and project execution supervision experience in the reticulation industry.
At least 5 years of design and project execution supervision experience in the solar or wind sector.
Professional registration as a Certified Energy Manager is preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing and completing complex engineering projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
