About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished hospitality professional to join a world-class private island destination in Madagascar as Operations Manager. This live-in role calls for a dynamic, guest-focused leader with strong operational expertise and a genuine passion for delivering luxury service in a remote island setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations
- Maintain and elevate service standards across departments
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and staff development
- Engage with guests to create warm, personalized experiences
- Support the General Manager with strategic and operational planning
- Control logistics, stock, and costs to ensure efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior operations or front-of-house role within a luxury lodge, resort, or island environment
- Excellent guest relations and communication skills
- Strong leadership with a passion for mentoring teams
- Flexible, adaptable, and hands-on approach to island living
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
Salary & Benefits
- Package includes: USD4000-4500 per annum, accommodation, all meals, Wi-Fi, laundry service, medical cover, and two annual flights
