About the Role
Exclusive Private Safari Lodge set in the Mjejane Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park is seeking a Management Couple to take over the management of a 5* self-catering lodge. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a young, dynamic couple passionate about the hospitality industry who are looking to contribute to the success of a thriving business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate guest check-ins and outs efficiently
- Foster a welcoming and friendly environment ensuring guests are comfortable during their stay
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by tending to guest concerns and complaints
- Arrange relieve housekeeps when needed
- Manage housekeeper and housekeeping duties
- Complete and send month end reports
- Submit salaries for payment each month
- Order and manage stock, consumables, and lodge assets
Requirements
- Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) DEAT registered
- Valid PDP
- Valid First Aid qualification
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent operational experience encompassing every aspect of Lodge Management including HR, Admin, FOH & Guest Experience
- Ability to receive instruction and follow thought as required
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, staff and shareholders
- Knowledge and experience of lodge operations
- Proficiency in Excel & Word
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure
