About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pool Attendant to join our team at the prestigious Country Club in Bryanston. As the face of our pool area, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service and cleanliness, while also supervising and coordinating the pool team to provide smooth and efficient service throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pool area
- Supervise and coordinate the pool team, including lifeguards, waiters, and barmen
- Greet and assist members and guests, providing attentive and friendly service
- Ensure guests are comfortably settled and have access to food and beverage service
- Monitor pool safety, cleanliness, and setup of loungers, umbrellas, and towels
- Uphold club service standards and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns
- Manage stock levels for towels, cleaning supplies, and poolside refreshments
Requirements
- Matric/Diploma or qualification in Hospitality or equivalent advantageous
- Ability to Swim
- Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a Country Club, Resort, or Hotel environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Well-groomed; professional, and reliable
- Drivers license with own transport
- Guest-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal abilities
Qualifications
- Matric/Diploma or qualification in Hospitality or equivalent advantageous
