About the Role

The Power Transformer Tanker role at Tailormade Solution involves working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits to other branches. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our power transformer tanking services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical instructions and specifications.
  • Attend daily and any other production-related meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Check parts against drawings, trail kits, and bills of material to identify shortages.
  • Perform any other reasonable duty delegated to you for the promotion of our business.
  • Maintain discipline as per company policies.
  • Ensure all travel cards and QC documents are completed.
  • Strip tanking parts upon receipt of repair orders and clearly mark with tags.
  • Prepare tanks’ top covers and conservators.
  • Release and load units after testing (preparing units for dispatch).
  • Check and ensure active parts are tightened before tanking and pressure testing.
  • Liaise with other departments via email, phone, and face-to-face to ensure good production flow.
  • Maintain 5S standards and ensure good housekeeping.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in tanking power units.
  • Knowledge of Syspro is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) will be beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate via phone and email.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and the willingness to handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with prioritizing tasks.
  • Keen sense of urgency and willingness to learn additional job-related skills.
