About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wildlife and Farm Manager to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Waterberg. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of South African wildlife, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the farm and wildlife reserve
- Lead and supervise staff, including veterinarians and conservationists
- Coordinate predator and breeding animal programs
- Monitor wildlife populations and track species using MS Office software
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including local communities and government agencies
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Nature Conservation, Wildlife Management, or related
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including hands-on predator and breeding animal management
- Valid SA Driver’s License (Code B or higher)
- Firearm competency (advantageous)
