About the Role
HotelJobs, a well-established luxury safari hospitality group, is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Groups and Conference Coordinator to join their Head Office team in Green Point, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be administratively strong, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling group or event-related bookings within a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting group, conference, and event coordination from enquiry through confirmation
- Assisting with quotations, confirmations, and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records, bookings, and administration
- Liaising with clients, agents, and internal operational teams
- Providing consistent pre-arrival communication and support
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in groups, conferences, events, or reservations within a hotel, lodge, or conferencing environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Hospitality, Tourism, or Events-related qualification (preferred)
Salary & Benefits
R20 000 – R25 000 per month, dependent on experience
