About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic couple to join our luxury safari lodge in Zululand as an Assistant Lodge Manager & Field Guide Couple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily operations, and leading guided safaris.

Key Responsibilities

Guest centric position with focus on hosting and serving at mealtimes
Checking in & out guests
Overseeing Housekeeping
Overseeing chefs and Kitchen
Overseeing FOH Staff
Running daily operations of camp & Staff
Setting tables with FOH team for mealtimes
Room checks
Stock takes & orders
Invoicing
Stock control
Reservations

Requirements

Grade 12
Minimum of 1 year managerial experience at a 4 / 5* Camp
A formal lodge management qualification will be an advantage
Excel knowledge is essential as well as other Microsoft Office programs
Interest in marketing & social media
Able to handle in camp issues and use initiative and work alone and well under pressure
