Job Title: Desktop Support Technician Location: Africa (Onsite & Remote) Experience: 35 Years Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide IT support for end-users, manage devices, and ensure smooth operation of Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications and have hands-on experience with modern workplace technologies. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications. Manage and maintain devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) or similar device management tools. Assist in resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Document support procedures, create knowledge base articles, and guide end-users. Support IT onboarding and off boarding activities, including device provisioning and recovery. Collaborate with IT teams to implement updates, patches, and security measures. Required Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 35 years of experience in desktop support or related IT role. Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+ IT Fundamentals+ (ITF+) Modern Workplace / Windows certifications (MD-102, Windows 10/11, M365, Device Management) Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Requirements
