About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to lead the design, development, and verification of satellite control systems, providing technical leadership and mentoring to a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and verification of satellite control systems (e.g. AOCS, power control, and actuator/sensor interfaces).
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of electronic and control systems engineers.
- Define system architecture, control algorithms, and electronic designs, compliant with space standards.
- Oversee requirements definition, design reviews, and technical documentation.
- Support system integration, testing, and validation at the unit, subsystem, and satellite levels.
- Interface with systems engineering, software, mechanical, and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant space, reliability, and safety standards (e.g. ECSS and MIL).
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, risk assessments, and project planning.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
- 7–10 years’ experience in electronic and/or control systems engineering.
- Proven experience with satellite or spaceborne systems.
- Strong background in control theory, control system design, and implementation.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with electronic design (analog/digital), simulations, and testing.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time control environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
