Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects within process plant and FEED environments
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scope documentation to develop accurate pricing models
  • Compile and analyze material, labour, and equipment costs
  • Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project teams to validate assumptions and pricing inputs
  • Participate in tender preparation, adjudication, and submission processes
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, incorporating them into estimates
  • Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools
  • Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs

Minimum Requirements:

  • BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating within process plants, EPC, or FEED environments
  • Proven experience in cost estimation for mechanical systems, piping, and equipment
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, from concept through to execution
  • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office tools
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
