We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drilling Rig Supervisor (Day) to oversee all offshore drilling and workover operations. This is a rotation-based position where you will represent the company on board, supervising service contractors and ensuring operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures and programs.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise all drilling and workover operations, rig moves, and emergency procedures on a 24-hour basis

Coordinate daily activities with service contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and operational standards

Monitor and inspect rig equipment, material stock, and performance of the onboard crew

Provide instructions and oversight for maintenance and repair work

Ensure logistics support is in place for uninterrupted operations

Review and provide feedback on drilling programs and service procedures

Prepare and submit accurate daily drilling reports, including progress, costs, material usage, and upcoming plans

Coordinate closely with onshore base, supply vessels, helicopters, and other support functions

Enforce all safety, health, and environmental procedures aboard the rig

Support material control and proper utilization of company-owned assets

Manage contractor performance and report any non-compliance issues
Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 8 years experience in offshore drilling operations

At least 4 years in a supervisory role overseeing contractor performance

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in English (Advanced equivalent to KJO L5)
