Dispatch / Receiving Manager (Distillery / Distribution / Production Warehouse)
Location: Meyerton
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee receiving of raw materials and dispatch of finished goods: ensuring accuracy, timeliness, quality.
Manage and schedule staff in dispatch & receiving departments.
Ensure goods are properly inspected on receipt, recorded, stored; manage outbound shipments with correct documentation (delivery notes, invoices).
Coordinate with production, quality, supply chain, transport/logistics.
Maintain inventory records, stock levels, ensure FIFO / other stock rotation systems.
Monitor performance metrics (order fill rates, lead time, damage rate, delivery accuracy).
Ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety, packaging, labeling regulations.
Plan dispatch routes / transport as needed; liaise with carriers.
Manage waste / returned goods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in dispatch/receiving / warehouse management; ideally with exposure to food / beverage or regulated products.
Knowledge of inventory systems, logistics, supply chain.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication skills.
Good computer literacy (inventory software, spreadsheets).
Valid drivers license may be required, transport knowledge beneficial.
