About the Role

WMS Secure is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our logistics and trucking workshop team in Bethal. As a key member of our fabrication, welding, and structural repairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety compliance, and operational uptime of our heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related transport equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify truck bodies, trailers, chassis, and frames
• Perform structural welding on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Repair load bodies, tipper bodies, tankers, flatbeds, and trailer components
• Strengthen, reinforce, and align chassis and structural components
• Carry out cutting, bending, shaping, and fitting of steel components
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, ARC, and CO2 processes
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Ensure welds meet quality, safety, and durability standards
• Inspect completed work for structural integrity and compliance

Requirements

• Qualified Boilermaker Trade Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Proven experience in heavy-duty trucking, logistics, or transport workshops
• Strong fabrication and structural welding skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Physically fit and safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Completed Boilermaker trade certification course
