About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Commercial & Digital Strategy Manager to maximise the performance of a luxury 5-star safari lodge in Limpopo. This is a Cape Town office-based role within a reservations office environment, working exclusively on behalf of one lodge under senior lodge management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing and yield strategies to optimise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR
- Monitor booking pace, demand trends, competitor positioning, and forecasting to adjust strategy proactively
- Manage distribution channels, ensure rate parity, and drive direct booking growth
- Produce monthly performance and forecasting reports, highlighting revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with reservations to refine booking procedures and improve conversion
Requirements
- 58+ years of experience in hospitality revenue management, travel trade sales or digital marketing, ideally within luxury safari / lodge sector
- Strong understanding of distribution channels, OTAs, rate strategy and travel trade partnerships
- Confident working with analytics, reporting, and performance tracking tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights and commercial strategies clearly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality, marketing, business or related field (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R45,000 (NEG) + KPI-based incentive
