About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Financial Controller to join our fast-paced paste industry operation. The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Director and will be responsible for assisting with financial administration, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and ensuring overall financial accuracy and compliance within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and management of financial reports
  • Process and review financial transactions accurately and timeously
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Support audits and provide required financial documentation
  • Coordinate with various departments regarding financial information and reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Assist the Financial Manager with daily financial operations and ad hoc duties
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies promptly

Requirements

Relevant BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Qualified CA (SA)

2–3 years’ experience in a similar Financial Controller or accounting-related role

Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational, coordination, and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
