About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Guide and Manager couple to join our team at a stunning 5-star Beach Lodge on the Wild Coast in South Africa. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of luxury lodge management and guiding experience, with a strong background in hands-on management and guiding. As a versatile management couple, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments, managing operations, and providing exceptional guest relations skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day lodge operations
- Oversee kitchen and housekeeping departments
- Lead and motivate team members
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Good computer skills with social media and marketing expertise
- Exceptional guest relations skills (hands-on hosting skills)
- Ability to think on the spot and multitask
- Experienced all-rounder in lodge operations
- Valid RSA Driver’s License with a public driver’s permit (PDP)
- Qualified Game Ranger/Field Guide with FGASA Level 1
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (required for Manager role)
- Matric certificate or equivalent (required for Guide role)
Salary & Benefits
- R30 000 – R35 000 per annum for the couple
- Live-in accommodation available
