About the Role
Our client, a trusted and well-established name in eye care and fashion eyewear, is seeking a qualified and passionate Optometrist to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient-focused professional who is committed to delivering exceptional clinical care while embracing a modern, style-driven retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision, eye health, and visual performance
- Diagnose refractive errors and identify ocular conditions and abnormalities
- Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and appropriate visual solutions
- Fit, assess, and manage contact lenses, including patient education and follow-ups
- Provide professional advice on eyewear, lenses, and eye care products
- Detect and manage ocular diseases within scope of practice and refer patients to ophthalmologists when required
Requirements
- Matric Qualification in Bachelor of Optometry
- Completed practical / clinical rotation training
- HPCSA registration to practice
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
