Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic insights to management
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, tax, and statutory requirements
- Manage cash flow planning and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support operational teams and travel to mining sites when required
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- CIMA qualification essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Financial Manager role
- Mining or heavy industry experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting systems proficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel to mining sites occasionally
