Job Description

The role involves managing and responding to client queries, sourcing and comparing quotes, processing new policies, renewals, and endorsements, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date policy documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing insurer queries, managing outstanding tasks, and adhering to strict service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely turnaround and high service delivery standards. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Matric/Grade 12 (essential). RE5 certification (advantageous). NQF 5 qualification in Underwriting or Short-Term Insurance (advantageous). Minimum 3 years” underwriting experience in the short-term insurance sector. Proven experience in both domestic and commercial insurance. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). Exposure to CIMS and Nimbis systems (advantageous).
