About the Role
We are seeking an HR Intern to join our team in Midrand, where you will assist with day-to-day HR administration and employee record management. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in HR operations within the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day HR administration and employee record management
- Support recruitment and selection processes, including shortlisting and onboarding
- Assist with training and skills development initiatives
- Support employee relations matters and HR reporting
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR databases
- Assist with payroll inputs, leave management, and attendance records
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and procedures
- Participate in HR projects and audits as required
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- Must require in-service training, internship, or workplace exposure to complete the qualification
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Interest in HR practices within the mining or industrial environment
