Job Description
What you’ll be doing
- Operate machinery and equipment to manufacture rubber hoses, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards
- Perform various production tasks such as cutting, joining, and finishing rubber hose components
- Accurately measure and inspect finished products to maintain quality control
- Assist in the overall production process, including identification of raw materials, understanding build specifications,
- comfortable in operating hose building equipment (including boiler and autoclave operation) and final trimming and quality checks.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing role, preferably in the rubber or hose industry
- Minimum of 3+ years of production or manufacturing experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate production equipment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technology
