Job Description
This role will provide hands-on exposure to the administrative side of IT, including handling insurance claims, managing telecommunications contracts, assisting with procurement processes, and preparing departmental expenditure reports.
Responsibilities
Insurance Claims Management
Support the review, renewal, and record-keeping of telecom service agreements, while maintaining up-to-date contract database
Procurement Assistance
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to source IT equipment and services, prepare purchase requests, and track procurement workflows. Assist with inventory management and inventory allocations
Expenditure Reporting
Compile and maintain departmental expenditure reports, ensuring that records are accurate, well-organized, and aligned with financial guidelines
Documentation and Record-Keeping
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for IT administrative documents, including contracts, invoices, and reports
Asset Management
Maintaining accurate IT asset registers daily
Compliance and Standards
Ensure that all administrative processes follow company policies, financial controls, and relevant compliance requirements
General Administrative Support
Assist the IT department with day-to-day administrative tasks, scheduling, and coordination to ensure smooth departmental operations
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in an IT, Finance or an administrative field
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
