About the Role
Join a Leading Heavy Engineering Manufacturer! We are looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Production Planner to join our dynamic operations team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Monitor capacity, resource availability, and lead times to prevent bottlenecks.
- Track work-in-progress and adjust schedules proactively based on operational constraints.
- Generate production reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Ensure material availability by collaborating closely with supply chain teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
Requirements
- 3 years experience in production planning preferably in heavy engineering, manufacturing or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of production processes, BOMs, routings, and MRP/ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to align multiple teams around changing priorities.
