Job Description

Intellicomms, a Fedgroup Partner Company, is currently seeking a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will have a strong background in financial processes, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in financial management. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the financial health of the organization. Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements. Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline financial operations. Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets. Lead initiatives to automate financial processes and enhance the use of financial systems and tools. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry standards. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster professional development. Set performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the finance team. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, with a strong emphasis on process improvement. Experience working in the information technology sector. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices. Proficiency in financial management software and tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Key Competencies: Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to apply them effectively. Process Orientation: Proven ability to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong attention to detail. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
