Job Description

Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Bryanston Property Type: Luxury Property Group Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience (CTC package including medical aid and 5% provident fund contribution) Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a luxury property group for a detail-oriented and experienced Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk. The successful candidate will support the finance team with day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing: Process all invoices, ensuring they are matched to purchase orders, authorised, valid, and compliant Check and process all credit notes and allocate as necessary Manage purchases against budgets Supplier Reconciliations: Reconcile supplier statements with company records Liaise with creditors and suppliers, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner Review supplier statements to ensure all documentation has been received and processed Payment Processing: Prepare payment requisitions based on reconciliations within set deadlines Produce weekly aged creditors lists and take appropriate action to clear outstanding items Produce 15th and month-end aged creditors lists with commentary for review Capture and allocate payments on Sage One and load payments on the online banking system Ensure all financial documents are filed and organised efficiently General Administrative Duties: Assist with audit requisites and activities Maintain and update intercompany/interdivision accounts, including recharges and payment allocations Maintain office stationery and general administrative functions as required Complete all duties assigned by the Finance Manager and Financial Accountant Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Creditors/Finance, preferably within the hospitality, share block, or timeshare industry Matric qualification including Mathematics Proficient in Sage One Accounting and advanced Excel skills Valid South African ID Strong numeric and administrative skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-starter with initiative, able to plan and manage deadlines and priorities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance professional to join a well-established luxury property group.
