Job Description
3–5 years’ experience in an Industrial Relations or Employee Relations role
Solid working knowledge of South African labour legislation
Experience managing disciplinary processes
Strong judgement, emotional intelligence, and conflict-resolution skills
Confident communicator who can influence at all levels
Ability to remain calm, fair, and solutions-focused in sensitive situations
Responsibilities:
Manage and advise on employee and industrial relations matters across the business
Guide managers through misconduct, incapacity, poor performance, and grievance processes
Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are fair, compliant, and consistently applied
Support CCMA cases and external labour processes
Provide advice on labour legislation, company policies, and best practice
Identify trends and proactively reduce employee relations risk
Support the development and rollout of IR policies, frameworks, and training
Will be reporting to HR Manager
