About the Role
Our client in the Insurance Industry is seeking a skilled Liability Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum savings on liabilities and providing excellent stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
• Attending to 30 files per day, including correspondence and telephone calls
• Attending to Liabilities to ensure maximum savings
• Reporting on Liability Stats
• Ensuring compliance to the payment process by the department
• Attending to Diary once a month
• Follow-up on outstanding information and documentation
• Update System in respect of payments
• Load and process payments on system
• Attendance of staff meetings
• Preparation for staff meetings
• Update and maintain the Liabilities Register
• Assist the Head of Recoveries with various matters
• When a colleague is on leave to assist with that person’s workflow
• Appoint assessors where necessary
• Negotiate best settlement options available
• Check all the required documents are sent by the TP’s
• Any other duties that may be required
Requirements
• Computer literate
• 1 year of experience in Liabilities or similar field
• Matriculation/ Equivalent
• Knowledge of office administrative procedures
