About the Role
As a Beauty Therapist at Career Custodians’ Mint Spa, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments to our clients while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer care. You will also be expected to continuously upskill yourself through practice and study, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Treat all customers with utmost care and professionalism to create an inviting and calm atmosphere.
- Perform various spa treatments (Manicure & Pedicure, Gel, Waxing, Skincare, and Massage) in accordance with Mint Spa protocols.
- Understand and utilize all Mint Spa related products effectively.
- Carry out accurate skin analysis and provide advice on skin and body care to clients.
- Maintain client records using a confidential and effective system.
- Use downtime to improve knowledge and services.
- Host guests, room them, refresh their rooms, and perform basic housekeeping tasks.
- Provide advice about Mint Spa’s products and build/maintain client relationships.
- Attend ongoing online training for personal development.
- Develop and maintain a mindful culture within yourself.
- Ensure that waxing station is neat and presentable at all times.
- Maintain nail stations as organized and clean as possible.
- Sterilize manicure and pedicure equipment regularly.
- Keep UV cabinets in good working condition.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Beauty Therapy Certificate
- 1 year of industry-related experience
