About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a site team in Richards Bay, Kwa-Zulu Natal, with 15 or more years of experience in providing industrial automation and/or electrical solutions in a project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a site team consisting of Project Leads, PLC and SCADA software technicians, Drafts persons and a construction team consisting of Construction Manager, Supervisors and construction labour.
- Assist project leads in providing proposals to the customer.
- Assign projects to Project Leads.
- Oversee labour and material profitability of all projects on site.
- Overall responsible for all site employees with regards to site safety regulations.
- Forecast and plan human resource requirements for site.
- Identify, and manage skills shortcomings amongst site employees.
- Interact with senior stakeholders from the client on a regular basis.
- Share responsibility with project leads for obtaining new projects.
- Provide feedback to company CEO/COO on overall site project performance and profitability.
- Facilitate and guide Project Leads on project payment claims and invoicing.
- Review QA procedures and QC performance on site.
- Review tenders prior to submission.
Requirements
- PMP Certification + 15 years experience in an Electrical or Automation project environment
- Trade Test Certificate (Instrumentation OR Electrical) + 15 years of work experience in a project environment
- National Diploma in Electronics/Electrical engineering fields + 15 years of work experience in a project environment
- BSc / BEng in Electrical/Electronic/Software engineering + 12 years of work experience in a project environment
- Advantage: ECSA registration
