About the Role
The Senior Project Engineer role at Chainlink Recruitment Ltd involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing the technical execution of engineering projects to ensure scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are met. This position requires managing mechanical and piping deliverables, facilitating collaboration with clients, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain technical integrity, scope definition, and quality standards across design, procurement, and construction.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams, providing technical guidance and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards.
- Manage supplier and contractor interfaces and foster long-term service provider relationships.
- Monitor progress and proactively address issues to support project delivery.
- Manage technical information flow between stakeholders and ensure accurate documentation.
- Oversee change control processes and scope alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support cost control and ensure deliverables are completed for client handover.
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration to maintain project integrity and schedule.
Requirements

Qualifications
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 years experience in project engineering for process plants (studies, basic and detailed engineering).
- 3 years engineering design experience in process plant construction.
- BSc Eng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
- Candidate registration with ECSA.
- Membership with SAIMechE.
