About the Role
Dream Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join our team in Swellendam. As a key member of our front office operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our guest services and managing all aspects of the front office. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Front Office Operations: Oversee all aspects of the front office operations, including guest check-in and check-out procedures, reservations, guest services, and room assignments.
- Supervise Staff: In charge of supervising and training receptionists, porters, and drivers to ensure they provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Handle Guest Concerns: Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Work with the resort leadership team to develop and manage the front office budget, including staffing costs, supplies, and other expenses.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all front office operations comply with resort policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the lodge.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in hotel front office operations or a related field
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Matric certificate not required)
