We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring their devices and systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line technical support for Windows desktops and laptops
- Manage identities and access in Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Support user onboarding and offboarding processes
- Troubleshoot hardware issues with PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Maintain accurate support documentation and use ticketing systems effectively
- Provide user training and system guidance to non-technical users
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve overall IT service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in an onsite IT support or service desk role (first- and second-line support)
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint)
- Experience managing identities and access in Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN troubleshooting)
Qualifications
- Relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience
