Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generator maintenance, mechanical servicing, and supporting both workshop and field operations. This role requires strong technical ability, customer interaction skills, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
The duties of this position are set out in the Duty Sheet annexed to the employment contract, which forms an integral part thereof. Any changes to the Duty Sheet will be made in consultation with the employee.
While the employee is appointed as a Diesel Mechanic, they may be required to perform other duties reasonably expected within the company from time to time.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:

Integration of mechanical and electronic systems

Workshop maintenance and general orderliness

Workshop stock and inventory management
Reporting Structure
The employee will report in accordance with the company organisational chart and will comply with instructions issued by management or any other duly authorised or delegated personnel.
Requirements

Qualified Diesel Mechanic or relevant trade qualification

Experience with generators and diesel engines

Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills
