About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team in Durban, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all product parameters such as voltage, pH conductivity, acid level, and temperature meet specifications before use.
- Verify that chemicals transferred to the effluent plant adhere to Environmental work instructions and procedures.
- Optimize line process parameters to improve units per input hour.
- Maintain tanks and pumps to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure accurate chemical specifications for tanks are followed according to work instructions.
- Correctly prepare and add chemicals to tanks in accordance with specifications.
- Follow the Handover procedure, detailing any necessary information.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (Critical)
- Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (adv)
- Handling of hazardous chemicals
- PPG certificate of training
- At least 2 years of experience as a Process Technician
- 2 years of experience in a similar quality field
