About the Role

The Import & Procurement Controller is a key role that requires an individual with strong financial skills, computer expertise, and knowledge of imports and procurements to manage the shipment of overseas stock orders for our client in Vereeniging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the shipment of overseas stock orders
  • Handle an entire OpCo as well as be fully across trained on another OpCO
  • Stand in for other OpCo as required
  • Place purchase orders
  • Follow up on order statuses
  • Calculate the cost of items and shipments
  • Manage the receipt of shipments
  • Arrange payments of invoices
  • Send samples of new products overseas to check quality

Requirements

  • 2 Years working experience in the Financial Department
  • Knowledge in Imports and Procurements

Qualifications

  • National Senior Certificate

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R18,000.00
