About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our cross-functional development squad, you will be responsible for driving roadmap execution and ensuring high-quality releases. You will work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver clean, on-time, and high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 1:1s, performance coaching, sprint flow, and delivery alignment
- Drive roadmap execution with Product & Design to ensure clean, on-time, high-quality releases
- Uphold engineering excellence through code quality, documentation, testing standards, and continuous integration
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years software engineering experience
- 12 years leadership/mentorship within an Agile SDLC environment
- Strong technical decision-making skills to balance delivery pressure with architectural integrity
- Confident collaborator who navigates teams, stakeholders, and blockers effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, IS or equivalent
- Deep engineering experience
