About the Role
Our client in Bloemfontein is seeking a motivated Miller Apprentice to join their team and learn the skills required for a successful career in milling.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the mechanical and operational efficiency of production facilities, equipment, and plant resources in bulk cereal handling, milling, and starch extraction.
- Ensure the effective functioning of machinery and equipment in the production process.
- Develop knowledge of quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
- Familiarize yourself with preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
- SAGMA registration (advantageous)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Basic understanding of the agricultural industry
- Keen interest in the field of study
