About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Dealer Development Manager to join our team in Fourways, Gauteng. As a key member of our OEM-level dealership network expansion strategy, you will be responsible for identifying new dealer opportunities and driving growth across South Africa. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in automotive sales, dealer operations, and project management to drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealer Network Expansion: Identify new dealer opportunities and evaluate market potential in line with OEM strategy
- Lead the dealer appointment process, including site assessments, negotiations, and contractual agreements
- Oversee the timely onboarding of new dealers and ensure readiness for operations
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Aftersales teams to align new dealer openings with national growth objectives
- Monitor and assess dealer adherence to OEM standards, policies, and corporate identity (CI) requirements
- Conduct regular dealer audits, inspections, and operational assessments
- Support dealers in improving operational performance, customer service, and profitability
- Provide guidance and training to dealers on sales, service, parts, and operational best practices
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Automotive Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in automotive sales, dealer operations, OEM environment
- Proven experience in dealer network development, project management, and operational support
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Motor Industry experience
